Dead Sea Salt

We use Dead Sea Mineral Salt in our Dead Sea Salt Moisturizing Body Scrub for its unique healing properties.

The Dead Sea is the most saline body of water in the world with far greater concentrations of minerals than any ocean (a concentration of 32% minerals compared to other seas, holding approximately 3%). Bromides and Iodine are known to be present in Dead Sea Salt, along with other minerals in a dried form, such as Magnesium, Sodium, Calcium and Potassium.

Sodium: Relieves stiffness and muscle cramps. Sodium is also a powerful detoxifying agent, helping cells retain nourishment and expel waste. Magnesium: Promotes quick healing of skin tissue and provides the skin’s surface with anti-allergic elements, also essential for cell metabolism. Calcium: An essential mineral, known to strengthen bones and teeth, also strengthens cell membranes and cleanses pores. Potassium: Helps balance moisture in the skin and body, aides in the reduction of water retention and in the nourishment of cells, and regulates the nervous system.
